Athletic Director (to begin in the fall of 2018)

This executive-level individual will provide leadership to plan, direct, and control the programs and activities for all areas of middle school and high school athletics. Their responsibilities will include, but not necessarily be limited to, strategic planning, budgeting, and administrative activities necessary to achieve a successful athletic program and student athlete academic excellence. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a related field, experience as a successful coach, experience as an athletics administrator, and strong leadership and communications skills. Director of Wellness/Counseling (to begin in the fall of 2018)

The function of the Director of Wellness/Counseling is three-fold: First, the coordinator is to be a safe, supportive advocate from whom all students can obtain guidance or short-term interventions, referrals, and recommendations. The coordinator should provide a welcoming, supportive presence and proactively create nurturing, supportive relationships with all students. Second, the coordinator supports the administrative team and faculty with mental health recommendations and classroom approaches. The coordinator serves as the point person for parents, guardians, faculty and staff, and administrators about student social, emotional, and mental health issues. Third, the counselor collaborates with faculty and staff to lead and facilitate community, character, and wellness education programs campus-wide. The coordinator will work with the Head to develop appropriate wellness and mental health programs school wide. Required qualifications include a minimum of a Master's degree in school counseling, psychology, or social work and at least 5 years of school experience.
