Giving to The Meadows
Welcome from The Meadows School Development and Alumni Relations Office!
Why give to The Meadows School?
 Meadows students' successes are possible because of your contributions. All Meadows alumni, parents, trustees, friends, faculty, and staff are asked to give to the Annual Fund each year. The Annual Fund is the most vital, voluntary source of income to support current operations--i.e., "bread and butter dollars." As the Annual Fund provides a critical percentage of the School's current operating budget, it is important that the "fundraising program" be maintained. From time to time the School will ask for donations for capital campaigns and/or to fund endowments. During each fiscal year the School accumulates donations of all of these types. While many in The Meadows community understand the needs of the School, there are still some who ask, "Why give to The Meadows School?" When you or others contemplate that question, please consider that every brick and building at The Meadows represents a gift. Endowments are built from gifts of people, past and present, who desired a secure future for the School. These people wanted the assurance that the buildings would be centers of lively learning where talented teachers could work with a student body chosen on merit, and ability, and ambition. Your donation, of any amount, is greatly appreciated.
When you are asked for a gift, please ask yourself these questions:
- Didn't The Meadows give you, or your sons and daughters, its best?
- Didn't The Meadows provide a solid foundation that enabled you or your children to go on to higher education well-prepared to excel?
- Didn't The Meadows teach the self-discipline that helped to mold student character to build a successful life?
- How many other ways was your child or were you touched by The Meadows?
When you are asked for a gift for The Meadows School, please think of those who came before you and who provided for you or your children. The Meadows community's fervent wish is that the School of the present and future will be stronger than ever because those who care for and appreciate the School will place their treasure where their heart lies.
