Beginning School

Welcome to The Beginning School!

The Meadows offers a two-year preschool program for three- and four-year-olds with the goal of delivering the best in early childhood education for students. The Beginning School encourages the development of the whole child - emotionally, intellectually, and physically. Teachers focus on promoting an interest in and love for learning in the younger child.

The Beginning School offers two half-day sessions, each five days per week. The morning session begins at 8:15 and ends at 11:30. The afternoon session begins at 12:30 and ends at 3:45. There are eighteen students in each classroom with two teachers. All teachers have degrees from four-year accredited colleges or universities.

Children must be at least three years of age before September 1 and fully potty-trained to begin school in the fall. All Beginning School students are tested for entry to kindergarten at The Meadows School.  No admission or placement in The Meadows School at kindergarten or any other grade is implied or guaranteed through/by enrollment in Beginning School. For those interested in Beginning School for the fall or in the future, an Interest Card must be on file in the School's office.  Please call 702-254-5220 or e-mail  MAhlert@themeadowsschool.org to request an Interest Card and/or brochure.  Thank you.
