Financial Aid & Tuition Information
It is the responsibility of each family to support the cost of their child's education. However, sometimes circumstances do not allow families to meet the full costs of educating their child. As a result, The Meadows School provides resources each year to members of the student body in the form of direct financial assistance.
Need-based financial aid awards are used to provide tuition assistance to students who will profit from, and contribute to, The Meadows School's educational environment and to increase the diversity (socio-economic) of the student body. Applicants for financial aid are expected to perform at an academically high level in order to maintain their financial assistance at The Meadows School.
It is strongly felt that parents should make a commitment to their child's education by contributing what their household income can realistically support. Financial assistance may range from support of several hundred dollars to a significant part of the full tuition, as needs warrant and funds permit.
School and Student Services (SSS), an organization that analyzes the Parents' Financial Statement, recommends eligibility for assistance. The Meadows School's Financial Aid Committee determines and awards all grants, taking into consideration the SSS recommendation and any special circumstances that might be pertinent when looking at the whole applicant pool. All information regarding financial aid is confidential. Applicants are required to submit a current IRS Form 1040 with all Schedules. Awards are only granted once a student is accepted, all the necessary paperwork has been filed and received by the School.
Financial Assistance Application Process
The Meadows School offers financial assistance to admitted applicants on a need basis:
- Complete the tour and submit all application materials as well as any other information required by the division office. The primary goal should be to determine whether your child is well-suited for The Meadows School and whether your child appears to enjoy the challenging educational environment.
- On the application, there is a space for checking whether you will be applying for financial assistance.
- Once your child has been accepted, the division director will guide you to the Business Office where you will pick up your financial aid packet.
The Meadows School's mission is to provide an academically rich educational environment to a diverse group of able students and also to support socio-economic diversity. We look forward to receiving your application and helping you decide if we are the right school to educate your child.
