Annual Giving Campaign

The Annual Giving Campaign provides the most important source of income (beyond tuition) covering essential expenses that enable the School to have a strong program year to year. As the Annual Giving Campaign is so critical to enhancing the budget, donors are urged to make this fund their priority. If you can only make one gift each year, please make it to the Annual Giving Campaign. Stretching to give the most possible to this fund each year is imperative to the success of the School. The Meadows School Annual Giving Campaign coincides with the School's fiscal year, July 1 through June 30.

Endowment Funds

Endowment is not only a symbol of the financial stability of The Meadows School, endowment is also an important foundation for the future. Money placed in an endowment is there "forever." Endowed funds are invested thus providing an income source that is never depleted. Only the interest income from the endowment is used each year to benefit the School. Gifts to endowment may be made at anytime; a specific campaign need not be underway at the time. Gifts of any amount may be given to an already established endowed fund—a list of endowed funds may be found in the donor report. New individual endowments may be initiated after contacting the Development Office. Endowments have been created to honor an individual or family and/or to fund a specific ongoing need. Endowing a "Department Chair" is a wonderful way to demonstrate a love of a subject area and ensure the financial future of the School. Please contact the Development Office with any questions.

Capital Campaign Funds

Capital campaigns build buildings and cover other capital expenses. As these are usually targeted campaigns with specific, tangible goals, the distinction between capital campaigns and other fundraising programs is usually very clear. Such campaigns are generally carried out over more than one year, and donors may make pledges spreading their payments over each year of the capital campaign. Capital campaigns are conducted when extensive outlays of capital need to be generated. Several years may go by without The Meadows School conducting a capital campaign or they may recur more often.
