First Lego League Informational Mtg.

The First Lego League is a competition for Lower School and Middle School students from ages 9 to 14.  It is a fun engineering competition where students build and program a robot using Lego Mindstorm Robotics to complete a challenge. This year's challenge theme is Nano Technology.  Student participants and parents will have to make a weekly, two-hour commitment to the project starting in mid-September and ending in the beginning of December. The fun culminates when The Meadows School students challenge other FLL teams in Las Vegas at the regional FLL tournament hosted at Cimmaron High School on Saturday, December 2, 2006.  If you are interested in participating, you must attend an informational meeting on either Friday, September 8, or Thursday, September 14 in Middle School room 232 at 3:30 p.m. The meeting should last only about half an hour.
