Gary Handley, Upper School History/Political Science Teacher, was named "Varsity Quiz Coach of the Year" for the Clark County region. The Meadows School Varsity Quiz team, comprised of eight juniors and one sophomore, placed second in Clark County against Green Valley High School.

The final matches were taped and will be broadcasted on PBS station KLVX Channel 10 as follows:
