The past two months have included a lot of firsts and a lot of first places for TMS Forensics. At the Redlands College tournament, Korbin C. was given the first place speaker award. At Arizona State University, the team of Korbin C. and Ryan S. came in first place by winning the policy debate tournament. At the Golden Desert Classic held at Foothill High School, Mike S. won first place in Lincoln-Douglas debate. At Stanford University, Korbin C. was again named the Top Speaker in policy debate, and at the Berkeley Invitational, Mike S. went undefeated to take first place in Lincoln-Douglas. Korbin and Mike have distinguished themselves such that they are recognized among the best, if not as the best, debaters on the West Coast in both of the most competitive forms of debate.
