A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on campus to unveil an Instant-Built House constructed by Upper School students. Instant-Built House is a joint venture between Metro Development Group, LLC (a for profit entity), SHARE (a nonprofit organization), and The Friedman Family Foundation (local charity). The homes are a way to provide affordable, emergency housing for those left homeless due to a natural disaster.
Students worked after school for a couple of weeks converting a recycled ISO module into a home containing a living room, dining room, bedroom, kitchen, and bath.
