Shan R., a rising second grade student at The Meadows, placed second in the nation in the Reading Rainbow Young Authors and Illustrators Contest. KLVX Channel 10 will tape an award presentation on August 1. Air times of the presentation have not been scheduled yet.

In addition to receiving a personal prize package, Shan will receive a set of Reading Rainbow books and tapes to present to the School and his community library.
