Lauren H.'s essay about the importance of voting won second place in the nation for the grade 7 category.  The School learned in late May that her essay would represent the state of Nevada for seventh grade. Lauren will receive a Savings Bond from AMVETS (American Veterans Service Organization) for her accomplishment.
