On September 29, in Indian Springs, The Meadows Mustangs played a very athletic Indian Springs team. The Mustangs got off to a booming start when on the second play defensive end Frank F. '13 recovered a fumble for a turnover. On the Mustangs second offensive play running back Brandon T. '12 scored a rushing touchdown. Brandon had his best game running the ball, scoring two touchdowns. Running back Anthony G. '12 also had a touchdown run. Quarter back Gerard M. '12 had a touchdown pass to wing back Michael K. '12. Quarterback Garrett G. '12 rushed into the end zone on a QB sneak and also recovered a fumble on defense. Defensive lineman Aaron L. '12 had two very nice tackles when he pursued the runner all the way from the line of scrimmage. The Mustangs were a more polished team this game by having no turnovers and kept the Indian Springs Thunder-Birds on their heels the whole time. This was a team win for the Mustangs where everyone got a fair share of playing time. The Mustangs next game is at home against the Henderson International-Warren Walker team on October 5 at 3:30 p.m.
