On Friday, October 5, at The Meadows, the Mustangs (2-2) took on a very big Henderson International team. The Mustangs dug themselves a hole in each half, and that was the reason for the loss. The Wolverines scored on their first drives in both halves. The Mustangs fought back and tied the score 8-8 when Quarterback Garrett G. '12 threw a touchdown pass to tight end Gerard M. '12. The Mustangs threw 2 interceptions, linebacker Michael K. '12 recovered a fumble for a turnover, and defensive back Taylor B. '12 intercepted a ball for the Mustangs. The Mustangs fought back in the fourth when running back Torrey M. '12 pounded his way in for a 1-yard touchdown run. The Mustangs then scored another touchdown when quarterback Gerard M. '12 threw a touchdown pass to tight end Garrett G. '12. The Mustangs next game is Friday, October 12, at The Meadows against Mountain View Christian Academy.
