The Meadows School robotics teams did very well at the FIRST LEGO League Robotics championship on Saturday, December 1. The School entered teams of fourth, fifth, sixth, and eighth grade students. Of the four Meadows teams, three teams finished in the top ten out of the 28 team field. The sixth grade team eclipsed all other teams and won the entire competition, taking home the coveted Champions Award and enabling them to compete in the International Competition which will be held in Atlanta, Georgia, at the beginning of next year. Up to 84 teams from 27 countries and global regions are expected to compete in Atlanta on April 17-19, 2008.
