Swimming and Diving State Championship Medalist (posted 5/26/2010)
Congratulations to Jessie B. '12 who place 3rd in the 200 yard freestyle at the NIAA 4A state championship.

Baseball NIAA 2A State Championship (updated 5/26/2010)
The Mustangs took second place in the 2A Southern League championship on May 15. They played in the state championship on Friday, May 21, but were defeated, ending their season.

There will be a mandatory cross country organizational meeting on Monday, May 24, at 3:15 p.m. at the Field House for any current 8-11 grade students who will attending TMS next year and are interested in making the cross country team. See signup flier.

2nd Annual Meadows Scramble Golf Tournament (posted 5/3/2010)

Golf Schedule Update (posted 5/3/2010)
The golf match on May 4 will no longer be at Nellis Golf Course but will be at National Golf Course, 1911 E Desert Inn Rd., Las Vegas, NV 89169.  It will still begin at 12:00 noon. Regionals will be held on May 12 at Nellis Golf Course and will begin at 12:30 p.m.  State will take place on May 18 & 19 in Needles.

Middle School Soccer Playoffs(posted 4/30/2010)
6th grade soccer plays at 4.30 p.m. on Monday, May 3, at TMS
7th/8th grade soccer playoffs on Tuesday, May 4, at 4.30 p.m. at LVDS
Finals will be on Thursday, May 6, at 4.30 p.m. 1 at LVDS.

Senior Named Top 10 Student-Athlete (posted 4/28/2010)
Congratulations to Heath G. for being named one of the top ten NIAA Student-Athletes of the Year in Southern Nevada.

Baseball/Softball Schedule Change (posted 4/28/2010)
The times of the baseball and softball games for Friday, April 30, against Calvary Chapel have been changed to 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. (They were scheduled for 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.)

Football Meeting for the 2010 Fall Season (posted 4/28/2010)
There will be a football meeting on April 29, 2010, at 3:00 p.m. in Coach Newman's classroom.

Middle School Practice Schedules (posted 3/18/2010)
The 6th grade soccer practice with Coach Cartledge is held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays 
from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m.
The 7th and 8th grades soccer practice with Coach Smith is held on Mondays and Thursday 
from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m.
Tennis practices begin April 6 and will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays until May 6. The Meadows Tournament will be held on May 8. 

1A/2A State Wrestling Results (posted 2/22/2010)
Two Meadows students placed in the 1A/2A State Wrestling competition on February 19 & 20:
  Weight 171: Archie R. '10, fourth
  Weight 189: Joshua R. '10, second

2A Southern League Boys' Basketball Tournament (posted 2/22/2010)
Lincoln County defeated The Meadows 68-52 on Friday, February 19, ending the season for the Mustangs.

1A/2A Southern Region Wrestling Results (posted 2/17/2010)
Four Meadows students placed in the 1A/2A Southern Region wrestling competition on February 12 & 13:
  Weight 112: Theodore M. '13, fourth
  Weight 140: Yanive E. '11,f ifth
  Weight 171: Archie R. '10, second
  Weight 189: Joshua R. '10, third

Meadows Students Named Las Vegas Review-Journal Fall Athletes of the Year (posted 1/25/2010)
Garrett G. '12 - 3A/2A/1A Football - Garrett, quarterback, led the Mustangs to its
     second straight 2A state title.
Laura W. '10 - 3A/2A/1A Girls' Volleyball - Laura, outside hitter, led the Mustangs to its
     first 2A state title since 2002.

Mustang Football Wins State! (posted 11/22/2009)
The Mustangs defeated Battle Mountain 27-24 on November 21 to win the 2A state championship title for the second consecutive year. For more information about the state playoffs, go to the NIAA website.

Mustang Volleyball Wins State! (posted 11/14/2009)
The Mustangs defeated Whittell for the 2A state title on November 14, winning three out of four matches.  Whittell has been the defending state champ since 2003. For complete scores, go to the NIAA website.
