Mustangs Sports Radio Game Not Availiable  (posted 1/9/2012)
Gary Kaempfer will not be able to broadcast The Meadows vs. Lincoln County game this Friday, January 13. However, Lincoln County runs a broadcast for fans to listen to. Below are the instructions to listen:

1.       Go to The Meadows website's home page
2.       Click on Mustang Radio Sports to get to Network One
3.       Click on radio stations, then click on Nevada on the map
4.       Click on the Lincoln County Link to follow the game

Mustangs Sports Radio Available Online!  (posted 12/9/2011)
Check out the new link on The Meadows home page. Mustang fans can listen to a radio broadcast of home games online! "Mustangs Sports Radio" is now available (in the lower, right corner). Gary Kaempfer will broadcast the games beginning with basketball this season.
If you do not see the "Mustangs Sports Radio" button on your home page, refresh your screen by clicking on the refresh button in the toolbar at the top of your webpage.


Football Season Ends for TMS (posted 11/14/11)
Pershing County defeated Meadows 44-22 in the second round of the 2A football state championship on November 12, ending the season for the Mustangs. Pershing County will play against White Pine in the finals on November 19 in Reno.


Meadows Senior Named Wendy's High School Heisman Male Finalist (posted 11/8/11)
Garrett G. '12 was named one of six male finalists for the Wendy's High School Heisman, an award that honors seniors who excel in athletics, academics, and community leadership. He will travel to New York where the male and female winners will be announced on December 10.

Garrett's selection is the third time The Meadows has had a national finalist for the award in the past six years. Cara B. was a national finalist in 2006, and Brett L. won the national award in 2008.

Sport Teams League/Region/State Championship Update (posted 11/7/11)
Football: Meadows defeated Mountain View 48-8 on Saturday, November 5, in the first round of the 2A State Championship Playoffs. TMS (#2 South) goes on to play in the state semifinals on Saturday, November 12, in Lovelock at 1:00 p.m. against Pershing County (#1 North).

Volleyball: Calvary Chapel defeated Meadows in the first round of the 2A Southern League Tournament on Saturday, November 5, ending the season for TMS. Calvary Chapel went on to win the tournament. Lincoln County placed second.

Cross Country: The girls' team placed fifth at the 2A State Championship on Saturday, November 5. Top finishers for TMS were Jeneke H. '15 (13th) and Megan A. '12 (14th).

Boys' Soccer: Boulder City defeated Meadows in the first round of the 3A Southern League Tournament on November 4, ending the season for TMS. Virgin Valley won the tournament.


Meadows to Compete in 3A Southern League Soccer Championship (updated 11/2/11)
The Meadows soccer team will compete against Boulder City on Friday, November 4, 3:00 p.m. at Virgin Valley. Follow the 3A Southern League payoffs on the NIAA website.


Meadows Girl Wins 2A Southern Region XC Championship (posted 10/31/11)
Megan A. '12 was the individual champ in the 2A Southern Region Cross Country Championship for the second consecutive year. The girls' team took second place at the championship. The meet was held in Laughlin on Friday,October 28. TMS boys and girls will compete in the state championship on Saturday, November 5, in Reno.

The Meadows football team (#2 South) will compete in the first round of league playoffs against Mountain View Christian (#3 South) at The Meadows School on Saturday, November 5, at 1:00 p.m.  Follow the 2A state playoffs on the NIAA website.


Meadows to Compete in 2A Southern League Voleyball Championship (posted 10/31/11)
The Meadows volleyball team (#4) will compete against Calvary Chapel (#1) on Saturday, November 5, 2:00 p.m., at Lincoln County. Follow the 2A Southern League payoffs on the NIAA website.


Meadows Wins 4A Girls' Tennis Doubles State Championship (posted 10/22/11)
The Brazell sisters (Meadows) defeated Brokaw and Wao-Udin (Liberty), 6-3, 6-4 today to win the Girls' Tennis Doubles 4A state championship.


Brazell Sisters Won Sunset Region Tennis Girls' Doubles Championship (posted 10/15/2011)
The Brazell sisters defeated a doubles team from Palo Verde yesterday 6-0 6-0, taking home the Sunset Region Doubles title for the second consecutive year. They will compete in the state championship quaterfinals on Friday, October 21, 3:00 p.m., at the Darling Tennis Center.


7th Grade Volleyball Game Schedule Change (posted 10/14/2011)
The 7h Grade White Team volleyball game on Thursday, October 20, will not be played. Dawson has forfeited the game.


Brazell Sisters to Compete Tennis Region Doubles Finals  (posted 10/14/2011)
The Brazell sisters defeated a doubles team from Bishop Gorman yesterday and will compete aginst a doubles team from Palo Verde today, October 14, at the Darling Tennis Center at 5:00 p.m. 
In individuals, Erika M. was defeated yesterday but will compete today for third place at 5:00 p.m.


TMS Girls Alive in Tennis Region Individual/Doubles Championship  (posted 10/13/2011)
The Brazell sisters will compete in the doubles semifinals today at 5:00 p.m. at the Darling Tennis Center.

Updated Open Gym and Fitness Center Hours (posted 9/13/2011)
Due to lack of use, the Fitness Center will now be closed during the original scheduled hours. However, the Open Gym's hours have now moved to only Saturdays during the following times:
   Individual Basketball Skill Work: 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
   Open Gym: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Fitness Center and Gym to be Open to TMS Families beginning August 29 (posted 8/17/2011)
The Meadows School will be expanding the hours during which some of the athletic facilities will be open to students, faculty, and immediate family members. The following programs will begin the first week of school. Below is a schedule of times and days, which may be adjusted depending upon usage:

·         Open Gym: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.; Saturday, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
·         Fitness Center: Tuesday – Thursday, 3:15 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.; Saturday, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
·         Both Open Gym & Fitness Center will be closed during any school closings

The use of the Fitness Center and Open Gym are strictly for students, faculty, and immediate family members. In order to use the Fitness Center, you must be 12 years or older. Any child under the age of 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult to use the Open Gym. No food or drinks are allowed. You must wear athletic shoes to use the facilities. Before participation, every individual must fill out a release form and return it to the file bin in the Fitness Center. A copy of the release form will be located in the Fitness Center or the Training Office. Please feel free to call or email Ashley Usera, Assistant to the Athletic Director, with any questions regarding the Open Gym or Fitness Center.
