The Middle School completed its third and final WordMasters competition on April 25. The WordMaster Corporation recently notified the School that the eighth grade class ranks first in the nation on the third and final competition which took place in late April. Spurred on by an offer of extra credit points from their English teacher if they received a perfect score, 14 of our 60 eighth grade students answered all twenty analogy questions correctly. For the third and final WordMasters competition, Middle School students competed against 731 schools and 88,550 other students in grades six through eight. The administrators of the WordMasters competition consider any score of 15 or better to be "highly commendable."
