Ronita M. '09, pictured at left, took first place in the chemistry sweepstakes in her division at the Beal Bank Nevada Southern Nevada Regional Science and Engineering Fair that was held at UNLV on March 13 and 14. As a grand prize winner, Ronita qualified to compete at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in Reno on May 10-15, 2009. Her project was titled "Chemical Soil Analyses of Anasazi Corn."

Congratulations also go to Vincent K. '10 who took second place in the chemistry division but did not qualify for ISEF.
