Beginning School (3-5 Year Olds)
The Meadows School offers a traditional preschool program for three-, four-, and young five-year-olds, delivering the best early childhood education for students in Las Vegas. The Beginning School encourages the development of the whole child - emotionally, intellectually, and physically. Teachers focus on promoting an interest in and love for learning in the younger child.
The Beginning School offers a morning session, an afternoon session, and a full-day session, all five days per week. Each class, assigned by the age of the student, is taught by two teachers and there are no more than eighteen preschool students per classroom.
Preschool Program Curriculum
The Beginning School curriculum includes introductions to language, math, science, social studies, music, and art. The curriculum is designed to provide a foundation that fosters a love of learning and academic curiosity in each preschool student.
Children must be at least three years of age before September 1 and fully potty-trained to begin school in the fall. All Beginning School students wishing to enroll in The Meadows School kindergarten are tested for entry. No admission or placement in The Meadows School at kindergarten or any other grade is implied or guaranteed through/by enrollment in Beginning School.
