Atria Seville to Host Intergenerational Art Show in Partnership with TMS

On Wednesday, May 4, 2022, Atria Seville will feature creations from 85 year old resident, Tony Curbelo, and local The Meadows School 11th grade student Brooklyn Siedlecki during an art exhibit at the senior living community. The show will include Tony’s watercolor landscapes complimented by Brooklyn’s oil painting portraiture. Both incredible artists are self-taught and continue finding time to pursue their passion for the arts. Tony discovered at a young age that his talent was a unique gift and Brooklyn says her grandmother was her biggest influence for art.

“This display is just one way we help our residents pursue their hobbies when they move to Atria, and it’s a great opportunity to encourage future generations to explore artistic expression as well,” said Jill Ann Biondo, Sr Engage Life® Director at Atria Seville. “We are honored to provide an opportunity for local artists of all ages to share their creativity.”

Residents enjoy regularly scheduled art classes as part of the senior living community’s diverse events calendar. Atria’s signature Engage Life program provides residents with a variety of life-enriching activities that are tailored to their individual interests. Next month we’ll host a community-wide art showing featuring many Atria Seville residents.

The art show and artist reception at Atria Seville will be held on Wednesday, May 4th at 1:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, call 702 804-6800.
