The Meadows School Campus
Auxiliary Programs Aim to Provide Opportunities to All Students

The heart of Auxiliary Programs is to provide engaging opportunities for students in a safe, supportive environment to help them deepen their curiosity and/or discover new interests. At The Meadows, the Auxiliary Programs Department focuses on the Core Value of Discovery, ensuring that students have the freedom to explore a variety of subjects so that they develop a love of learning by having the chance to learn what they love.

Over the last year, our offerings have grown to include The Meadows After-School Program(S) (MAPS) for Beginning and Lower School students, the Learning, Enrichment, and Activities Program (LEAP) for Middle School students, Camp Mustang for students ages 3-14, and Upper School Summer Courses for Upper School students. We strive to find unique opportunities to provide enrichment to students that help them develop the skills needed to prosper at The Meadows and be well-prepared for the opportunities they are sure to encounter after graduation.

LEAP and MAPS

In the inaugural LEAP session starting March 6, 2023, Middle School students will be able to learn from experts on chess, gardening, debate, Photoshop, and graphic animations. The instructors are excited to share their expertise and passion with the students! We welcome any feedback on the programming to ensure that we are providing courses that interest our Middle School students.

In the third and final trimester of the 2022-23 Meadows After-School ProgramS (MAPS), as per parent requests, we have added yoga, painting, golf, and S.T.E.A.M. & Robotics, along with a variety of other courses, to ensure that there is a balance between academics, sports, and arts. We love hearing parent requests and being able to fulfill them! Please continue to share your thoughts and ideas as we shape MAPS into the best it can be.

Registration for MAPS and LEAP is open in the myMeadows Parent Portal until February 17, 2023, at 6:00 p.m.

Camp Mustang and Upper School Summer Courses

Summer is the perfect time to try something new or encounter a subject in a creative atmosphere. From May 30 - July 28, 2023, campers will have a wide variety of engaging activities to choose from at Camp Mustang, ensuring they have a fantastic, thought-provoking summer!

For our Upper School students who want to get ahead or refine their academic skills, we will host summer courses including precalculus, trigonometry, health, personal finance, economics, writing, and GOA.

Camp Mustang and Upper School Summer Course registration opens on April 3, 2023.
