Meet Grayson Bell

Grayson Bell serves as the Upper School Academic Learning Coach within the Student Support Services department at The Meadows School, where he plays a vital role in supporting student success both academically and personally. Many students recognize him as the go-to resource for test make-ups, academic guidance, and, just as importantly, a trusted and attentive listener. With eight years of experience in the field, four of them at Meadows, Grayson views his time at the school as a meaningful and defining chapter in his professional journey. A graduate of California Baptist University (Class of 2016), he brings both expertise and empathy to his work with students.

What Grayson values most about education is the opportunity to help shape and nurture young minds while serving as a strong advocate for every student he encounters. His role allows him to work closely with a dedicated group of students while remaining accessible to the entire Upper School community. Students who connect with Grayson can expect to be heard, affirmed, and thoughtfully challenged when needed. Drawing from his own experiences as a student who sometimes felt overlooked, he is deeply committed to ensuring that no student at Meadows feels unsupported or unheard. His approach is grounded in compassion, encouragement, and a belief that every student deserves to thrive.

Beyond the classroom, Grayson appreciates the vibrant culture that defines The Meadows School. He describes the school spirit as truly unmatched, noting that spirit dress-up days are a personal favorite. Originally from Apple Valley, California, Grayson brings a unique and creative background to campus life. He is a published songwriter and has a fascinating heritage, with roots tracing primarily to West and Central Africa, along with distant Egyptian ancestry, including a surprising connection to three mummies. These personal elements add to the richness he brings to the Meadows community, making him a valued and dynamic member of the faculty.
