Great American Pride Recipients Honored at City Council Meeting
Meadows Fifth Grade students who participated in the Great American Pride program for the 2021-22 school year were honored at a City Council meeting in June. In order to receive this honor, students had to:
- Write the Pledge of Allegiance with no spelling or mechanical errors
- Recite the Preamble of the U.S. Constitution
- Sing/recite the Star Spangled Banner
- Recite all U.S. Presidents in chronological order
- Recite states and capitals in alphabetical order
- Recite the Gettysburg Address
