Great American Pride Recipients Honored at City Council Meeting

Meadows Fifth Grade students who participated in the Great American Pride program for the 2021-22 school year were honored at a City Council meeting in June. In order to receive this honor, students had to: 

• Write the Pledge of Allegiance with no spelling or mechanical errors
• Recite the Preamble of the U.S. Constitution
• Sing/recite the Star Spangled Banner
• Recite all U.S. Presidents in chronological order
• Recite states and capitals in alphabetical order
• Recite the Gettysburg Address
