Senior Mercedes Moore has been awarded the James E. Casey Scholarship by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, has been named a 2020 Ronald McDonald House Scholarship recipient, a Santa Clara University Presidential Scholar recipient, and received an Academic Achievement Scholarship from Seattle University.

Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Greater Las Vegas, along with McDonald’s and our community partners, are proud to award $141,250 to 90 high school seniors and 43 returning college students in 2020!

Since 1999, the RMHC of Greater Las Vegas Scholarship Program has awarded more than $4.4M in scholarships to eligible students and alumni in Clark and Nye counties.  RMHC Las Vegas is the largest, and one of only two remaining RMHC chapters in the world that offer a scholarship program.

James E. Casey Scholarship

Recipients receive an award of $2,500 U.S. dollars. Awards may be renewed for up to three additional years (for a maximum of $10,000) or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first. Renewal is contingent upon satisfactory academic performance in a full-time course of study and continuation of the program by The UPS Foundation.
