The Meadows School's bowling season was marked by impressive achievements, culminating in a triumphant state championship win for the varsity girls team and a commendable runner-up position for the boys team. The girls' team showcased a promising start with a 2-1 record as of December 11th, including a flawless 9-0 victory over Mater East led by Pepper Jung's 168 game and 437 series. They continued their dominant streak against Best Western, achieving their best match score of the season with 1541 points, buoyed by Cayla Sylvain's standout 168 game and 456 series.

As the season progressed, Pepper Jung continued to shine, breaking the school record with an exceptional score of 222. Alongside her individual success, the girls' team set a new single-game record with a total of 637 points, underscoring their collective skill and determination. Their journey led them to the Team State Championships beginning February 12th at the Orleans, preceded by the Individual State Playoffs held from January 29th to February 2nd.

Riding on the momentum of their record-breaking performances, the girls' team went on to defend their title, winning the state championship for the second consecutive year. This victory not only highlights their prowess on the lanes but also their unwavering spirit and teamwork throughout the season.

The Meadows School boys' bowling team had a remarkable season, kicking off with an undefeated streak of 2-0 by December 4th and improving to 3-0 a week later. The season was punctuated by record-breaking performances, including Ibraheem Hito's stunning 297 game that set a new school record, marked by 11 consecutive strikes. Brandon Yeager also shone brightly, rolling a school record series of 694.

The team demonstrated their prowess with a single-game record of 873 points against Western, where they also notched a match record with a total of 2348 points. As the season continued, their winning streak was sustained with a victory over SLAM on January 16th, featuring impressive games by Brandon Yeager with a 248 and Matt Maddox with a 235.

Brandon Yeager's successful season reached its zenith when he claimed the individual state championship on February 5th. His standout average of 204 led the 3A category, and he secured his victory with a score of 468 against 409 in the finals.

The team entered the state championship on February 12th at the Orleans with high hopes and fierce determination. After a week of intense competition, the boys' team emerged as the runner-up in the state finals, a proud conclusion to a season that saw them not only excel as individuals but also come together as a formidable team. Despite a challenging start of 1-3 as of December 4th, the team began to find their footing, with standout performances like Cyrus Hutchison’s 35-point game against Green Valley lifting them to a 2-4 record by December 11th.

Cyrus Hutchison's exceptional play, which earned him a place in the Desert Holiday Classic All-Tournament, propelled the team forward as they improved to 9-7 by January 8th. His dominance on the court was a recurring theme as the season progressed, with the team boosting their record to 11-7 and remaining unbeaten in league play by mid-January.

The momentum continued as the team maintained a flawless league record, sitting at 13-7 by January 22nd and 15-7 by the end of the month. The team celebrated senior night on February 2nd with an impressive record and unwavering team spirit. The following week saw another victory, pushing them to a 17-7 standing, with Jeremiah Toby’s 17-point game earning recognition from Nevada Preps as a top Friday performer.

Concluding the regular season with an outstanding 19-7 record, the boys demonstrated their strength in league play, remaining undefeated at 12-0. They entered the regional quarterfinals with confidence, hosting Moapa at home on February 12th.

The season concluded with the team boasting a 20-8 record after a hard-fought battle against Democracy Prep in the Regional Semi-Finals. Although their journey ended before the state championship, the depth and talent observed throughout the season signal a promising and formidable return in the next season. With the foundation laid and experience gained, The Meadows School boys' basketball team is poised for future success.

The Meadows School's JV Boys Basketball program exhibited a standout season, showcasing an impressive depth in talent and culminating in the best record in the school's history for a JV boys basketball team. The team kicked off the season with promise, quickly establishing a winning record and demonstrating their prowess on the court. By January 8th, they had achieved a commendable 7-2 record, a testament to their hard work and dedication.

The team's defensive coordination was particularly noteworthy, with players demonstrating exceptional unity and energy, contributing to their growing confidence. This cohesive defense, combined with strategic offensive plays, propelled them to a 10-3 record by January 22nd. Continuing on their upward trajectory, the team's skill and synergy saw them amassing an impressive 12-3 record by the end of January.

As the season neared its conclusion, the JV Boys Basketball team's relentless determination and collective talent were on full display. They surged ahead to a remarkable 14-3 record, with two games left against Doral and Coral Academy. The Meadows School's wrestling team capped off an impressive season with freshman Nick Gallardo leading the charge, securing an individual state championship and achieving All-American status at Nationals. The season commenced with promise during the Mustang Stampede Duals, where the team secured their first dual win against Canyon Springs & Rancho, showcasing the emerging talent of Nick Gallardo and Thomas Sanchez.

As the season progressed, notable performances included Damien Snow's initial wins and Gallardo's undefeated streak at the Spartan Invite, where he was the only freshman to place in his 30-man bracket. Continued successes against Sunrise Mountain and Mater East, with Gallardo clinching a win in sudden death overtime, underscored the team's growing prowess.

At the Chaparral Invitational, Gallardo, along with teammates Jack Dempsey and Jerry Chen, contributed to a strong team showing. Gallardo's outstanding performance secured him a 4th place finish in the 138lb bracket, highlighting his exceptional talent and determination.

Hosting a meet against Eldorado High School, the team saw victories from Gabriella Plaster, Nick Gallardo, and Billy Jennings, setting a confident prelude to Regionals. At Regionals, the team finished 9th, with Billy Jennings placing 6th in his category and Gallardo winning the regional championship at 144 pounds, remaining undefeated.

Gallardo's remarkable season peaked at the State Championships in Bullhead City, where he won the title at 144 lbs, an extraordinary achievement for a freshman. His success propelled him to the Nationals in Virginia Beach, where he competed in the freshman 145 bracket. Gallardo's performance at Nationals was outstanding, earning him an 8th place finish out of 60 participants and the prestigious All-American status.

Nick Gallardo's accomplishments, along with the solid performances of his teammates, have set a high bar for The Meadows School's wrestling team. The team's successful season, culminating in a state championship and national recognition showcases the depth of talent and the promising future of the wrestling program at The Meadows School.
