REGISTRATION
All online registrations must be received by Thursday at noon the week prior to camp, in order to be processed for classes and camps starting the following Monday.
TUITION
Tuition less than $220 must be paid in full at initial registration. For tuition greater than $220, a deposit of $400 must accompany registration, and the tuition balance must be paid by May 15, 2023. If the initial payment is made by a credit card, the balance due on May 15, 2023, will be automatically charged to the credit card on file.
CANCELATION, WITHDRAWAL & SCHEDULE CHANGES
The Meadows School reserves the right to cancel any program for any reason prior to the start of camp. If TMS cancels a program, the complete registration fee will be refunded. If camp has begun and is canceled due to illness, a prorated amount will be refunded. TMS reserves the right to request withdrawal of any student whose conduct is unsatisfactory or who fails to conform to the rules and regulations.
No refund will be made to any students who is dismissed from the summer session after the program has begun.
A $50 processing fee is charged for each course canceled by the student/family. Cancelation and change requests must be emailed to
support@themeadowsschool.org two weeks prior to the camp start date to receive a refund. No refunds will be issued if the cancelation is made less than two weeks prior to the camp start date.
Students are allowed one camp schedule change at no charge. A $15 schedule change will be charged for each additional change.
EXTENDED CARE
Camp Mustang offers extended care before and after camp for students age 3 to grade 8. Children will have the opportunity to play outdoors, read, create arts and crafts, play games, and rest. All activities are supervised. A snack will be provided in the afternoon.
Note: Children must be picked up by 5:00 p.m. Parents will be charged $2 per minute per child after 5:00 p.m.
SCHEDULE AND COST
7:30 a.m.–9:00 a.m., $50 per week;
3:30 p.m.–5:00 p.m., $50 per week
CAMPUS POLICIES
All students must be enrolled in a program while on campus.
ESCORTING BETWEEN CAMPS
Students enrolled in multiple daily camps will be escorted from one location to the other by teachers and counselors.
ELECTRONIC DEVICES
Please leave all electronic devices at home. Cell phones are welcome but should remain in the student’s backpack during camp hours and lunch. If there is an emergency, we will contact you immediately. TMS is not responsible for lost, stolen, or broken devices.
BEHAVIOR POLICY
It is our intent to establish a safe and positive environment for all students. Campers are expected to show respect to other campers, property, and faculty, be responsible for their own actions and conduct themselves in a respectful manner. In the event of disruptive and inappropriate behavior, TMS reserves the right to dismiss a student from the camp and/or program.
LUNCH/SNACKS
Campers who will be on campus between 12:00 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. must bring a lunch each day. Microwaves and refrigeration are not available. Please enroll your child in the lunch period if they will be attending a morning and afternoon camp. The Meadows School is an Allergy Aware School. Please do not send items with peanuts or nuts in your child’s lunch or snack. Students in sports camps and day camps may bring snacks for their morning or afternoon breaks.
STUDENTS
Camp Mustang welcomes students ages 3-18 to attend our summer program. Children must be 3 years old on or before May 30, 2023. All children must be completely toilet trained, without assistance from an adult, to attend camp.
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Students from countries other than the United States must submit a complete list of immunizations to Camp Mustang staff two weeks prior to attending camps/classes.
T-SHIRTS
Each camper will receive one Camp Mustang summer t-shirt for the season.
HOLIDAYS
Camp Mustang will not be held on Monday, June 19, 2023, in observance of Juneteenth, and the week of July 3-7, 2023, in observation of Independence Day.
CAR LINE DROP-OFF/PICK-UP
Parents may drop-off and pick-up their children from the designated pick-up areas. Students are not to be dropped off earlier than 15 minutes prior to the start of camp unless enrolled in before care. Students will be escorted to and from camps by a faculty member or a counselor. Students will be escorted to the pick-up areas and be released only to authorized individuals. Students may not be dropped off early for extended day. Children attending extended day must be signed in and out each day by a parent or authorized adult.
COVID-19 RESPONSE POLICIES AND PROTOCOLS
Camp Mustang will follow all policies and procedures adopted in The Meadows School student and parent handbook. Masks are optional for all faculty, staff, and students. If worn, they must be a school-appropriate, non-distracting cloth or medical-grade facial covering that completely covers the nose and mouth. Students do not wear masks while eating or drinking, taking a nap, or during distanced outdoor play. Please send an extra mask or facial covering to replace soiled or lost ones.
