The Meadows School CampusWe are pleased to invite all teachers and administrators to the Fourth Annual Meadows School Teaching and Learning Conference. This year's theme is Future Ready, Evidence Strong: Teaching & Learning in the 21st Century.
The conference will have five broad strands:
- AI in Education: Promise, Practice, and Pedagogy: Harnessing the power of generative AI to transform teaching, enrich learning, and uphold academic integrity
- Rethinking Assessment: From Tests to True Learning: Exploring data-backed innovations in assessment that capture deeper understanding and real-world skills.
- Teaching the Whole Child: SEL, Mental Health, and Academic Rigor: Integrating social-emotional learning and well-being practices while maintaining high expectations and resilience.
- Curriculum That Connects: Designing for Coherence and Impact: Building aligned, research-driven curriculum pathways that scaffold skills, elevate instruction, and foster lifelong learning.
- Evidence into Action: Research-Informed Teaching Practices: Turning proven strategies and effect-size research into daily instructional habits that accelerate student growth.
The Conference will run from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. with breakfast and lunch provided. Fun activities and wellness options will also be available throughout the day.
Faculty, staff, and administrators from all schools are invited to attend or present at this conference! If you'd like to present, we are looking for sessions that fit into one or more of these strands. Presentations should be an hour in length and be interactive and engaging. We encourage you to think outside of the box—small panel presentations, group discussions, performances, workshops, and individual presentations are all welcome.
Potential presenters will need to complete the Proposal Submission Form by Friday, February 20th. Submissions will be evaluated, and selected presenters will be notified by Monday, March 2nd. Those selected as presenters will receive a small honorarium. Continuing Education Units will be offered to both those who present and attend.
We hope that you will consider sharing your talents as a presenter or joining us an attendee on April 20th for this day of teaching and learning!
