The Meadows School CampusWe are pleased to invite all teachers and administrators to the Third Annual Meadows School Teaching and Learning Conference. This year's theme is Build a Whole School for the Whole Student: Best Practices in Engagement, Wellness, Curriculum, and Assessment.
The conference will have broad strands:
- Wellness and Well-being (for students AND teachers)
- Student Engagement in the Classroom
- Curriculum and Instruction Development
- Rethinking Grading and Assessment
- Building Community
The Conference will run from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. with breakfast and lunch provided. Fun activities and wellness options will also be available throughout the day.
Faculty, staff, and administrators from all schools are invited to attend or present at this conference! If you'd like to present, we are looking for sessions that fit into one or more of these strands. Presentations should be an hour in length and be interactive and engaging. We encourage you to think outside of the box—small panel presentations, group discussions, performances, workshops, and individual presentations are all welcome.
Potential presenters will need to complete the Proposal Submission Form by Friday, February 21st. Submissions will be evaluated, and selected presenters will be notified by Monday, March 3rd. Those selected as presenters will receive a small honorarium. Continuing Education Units will be offered to both those who present and attend.
We hope that you will consider sharing your talents as a presenter or joining us an attendee on April 21st for this day of teaching and learning!
