Academics

The Meadows School is a college preparatory, nonprofit, nonsectarian school founded on a traditional educational philosophy. We serve grades PreK-12 on a 40-acre campus in the Summerlin area of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Our approach to learning is designed to make sure all students learn to develop habits of the mind - to love learning, to think critically, and to seek knowledge independently. Our focus in curriculum is the written word with a great value placed on science and mathematics. Our students graduate as well-rounded individuals able to think and speak intelligently about the world.

Math, science, English, history, and world languages make up the core curriculum starting from our youngest students and continuing through graduation. A focus on research-based learning is taught at an early age and students are encouraged to find their passions both inside and outside of the classroom.

Each academic class is capped at 20 students per section in Lower and Middle School and 18 students per section in Beginning and Upper School. This small class size allows for individual attention and a focus on the academic growth of each student. Keeping classes small ensures that our teachers and division directors know and care about every student.

A high-caliber education is one of the most rewarding and important gifts a parent can give a child. We invite you to feel the excitement of extraordinary learning firsthand by scheduling a tour today.
