Advisory

The Advisory Program in the Upper School provides breadth and support to students in their academic and personal development and to develop individuals who possess 21st Century skills.

There are five primary purposes to the Advisory Program:

  • Developing interpersonal relationships among staff and students
  • Providing academic support to students
  • Enriching the curriculum
  • Providing college preparation
  • Enhancing the school culture

By targeting these five specific areas in a scheduled block every other week, students will develop 21st Century skills that allow for future academic and professional success. The main objective of the Advisory Program is to facilitate the acquisition of these very important skills:
