Soirée & Poker Tournament

On behalf of The Meadows School, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to each one of you who attended the Betting on Excellence - Soiree & Poker Tournament on Friday night. With 350 attendees and almost 150 participants in the poker tournament, it was a night to remember.

We are thrilled to announce that our 50/50 Tuition Credit raffle got up to $39,000. Congratulations to Eddy Safadi for winning a $19,500 tuition credit for the 2023-2024 school year.

The Poker Tournament was a huge success, with our Interim Head of School, Claude Grubair, taking home the gold bracelet. Congratulations to all who participated in this exciting event.

We would also like to thank our Silent Auction winners. If you were one of the auction winners, you will be notified and able to pick up any physical items starting tomorrow.

I want to take a moment and personally thank our committee co-chairs, Naz Ford & Archie Rufty, for their vision, energy, and commitment to every aspect of Meadows. Their dedication makes community events like the Betting on Excellence - Soiree & Poker Tournament such a success. Thank you to David Williams who planned and executed a poker tournament that was fun and exciting for pros and novices alike. We could not have had such a great night without him.

Additionally, I extend my sincere appreciation to all committee members for engaging sponsors, sourcing auction items, working with vendors, planning every detail of the tournament, and so much more. Samantha Atkinson, Carmen Boscolo, Sanaz Chambers, Jaime Chilton, Dena DuBoef-Roth, Joanna Falb, Nazanin Ford, Kimberly Gora, Ashley Levin, Jaime Orman, Alida Roberts, Ryan Tselikis. Without them, this event would have never happened.

Finally, I would like to thank all our sponsors who supported this event, from our location, item, and auction sponsors to every family who donated towards ensuring every faculty and staff member could attend. Your generosity has helped make this event a grand success.
